Junior General News

Come here for all your relevant news and information regarding the 2020/2021 season for our junior cricket teams!

Welcome to the Junior Page for Rowville Cricket Club!

Why play cricket at Rowville?

We are a family-friendly club, with our junior teams based out of Liberty Reserve, right near Heany Park PS.

We are a growing club. Last year we had the second largest Junior Blast program in the whole league; three Super 7 teams; and two Fast 9 teams. We are able to recruit and retain great kids and great families because of our inclusive and friendly approach.

We have quality people involved at all levels of our club. We have young senior cricketers willing to give back to the club by coaching junior teams.

Our number 1 goal is fun and participation, but we also want to ensure we are developing all of our players to be the best cricketers they can be.

For the upcoming season, we are offering heaps of opportunities for kids aged 4 - 13 to get involved.

We have the Woolworths Junior Blast program, an introductory program aimed at kids aged 4 - 8 (but we are happy to accept kids older and younger than this!).  More general information about the program can be found here:  https://www.playcricket.com.au/junior/cricketblast-juniorblasters.

We also offer teams in the Super 7s, Fast 9s and U/13's.

Further down the page, we have included some detailed information about each of these programs.

Please contact Junior Co-ordinator, Mark Oudshoorn, on 0412 767 315 or rowvilleccjuniors@gmail.com for further information, or, register for the upcoming season by following this link: https://www.playcricket.com.au/club-finder/club-details?Id=1251
