The Rowville Cricket Club invites all members to become Foundation Members of the Liberty Nets project.
The Rowville Cricket Club is seeking a partnership with Knox City Council to construct cricket nets at Liberty Reserve, based in the growing Liberty Estate. By constructing nets, we will be able to conduct junior training at the ground, providing an accessible and modern sporting facility to the Rowville community
Knox City Council have allocated $35 000 towards this project, and had applied for a further $35 000 funding from Sports and Recreation Victoria. Unfortunately, this application was unsuccessful. The Club and Council are now working together to ensure the project is funded in full. The Club have considered various means by which we can increase our contribution to the project.
Part of our fundraising towards this project has been the launch of the Foundation Membership scheme. Foundation Members will be immortalised on a special plaque in the Liberty Reserve Clubrooms, forever marking their contribution towards this important project.
The List of foundation members has increased significantly.
